“Hey everyone, my name is Andrew but everyone calls me Reidy. I’ve been lucky enough to work as a lifeguard on Bondi for over 12 years now and in that time I’ve been a part of a pretty cool TV show called Bondi Rescue. Basically a tv crew follows what the lifeguards are doing for 4 months of the year, then take the best parts and put it into 13 episodes. We’re just kicking off season 11 which is sure to be a busy season ahead!

“Outside of lifeguarding I have numerous hobbies. From Podcasting at 2GB where I work as a panel operator to organising my Bondi Splash n Dash event to raise money for the local youth centre which is coming up on November 21st. I’ve also been involved in a number of local events in the Shoalhaven, and are super keen to see the Shoalhaven come alive with colour for the inaugural Colour Me Fun Run event weekend, Sunday 25th October.

“This will be my first time involved in a colour event and I’m pretty excited that I get to be a part of a festival like this, that promotes a healthy lifestyle for all ages with a whole lot of laughter along the way. I love visiting the Shoalhaven, with green farmlands one direction, and pristine beaches the other. It is going to be awesome, and such a great day on the banks of the Shoalhaven River!
